Features include Fleck 7000/1600 timer valves with PVC-injectors, environmental backplates and covers, 3/4 inch plastic yokes, blue polyglass tanks, basket distributors, manganese greensand, gravel bed and potassium solution tank.

As a manganese greensand filter this device works best at a flow rate of 2.5 g.p.m.. It can be be operated as high as 5.0 g.p.m. but you may see some of the contaminents slipping through.

The back wash rate during regeneration is 5 g.p.m.
